READY TO ROLL CAMERA ON “ROOM AND BOARD”

Beverly Hills, CA (rushprnews) March 29, 2007 -- Hoboken Pictures Executive Producers Anthony Falco and Eva Choina in association with The Rock Entertainment are finalizing preparation for the pre-production of a dark comedy horror flick “ROOM AND BOARD”. The picture is set to film on location outside of Atlanta GA. BJ Davis and Lindsay Hudson will produce for feature film Director Julia Davis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Rob Neighbors. Helen McCready will cast the picture for Hoboken Pictures and The Rock Entertainment.

TV action star William Katt, Academy Award nominees Charles Durning and Robert Loggia will join the stellar cast of the film that is set to begin shooting this summer in the sultry South. This stylized cross between a dark comedy and horror is envisioned by Director Julia Davis to be in the “Pulp Fiction” vein as a classier spin of a slasher, sexy fright night features that do so well at the box office. John D. Schofield, producer of Academy Award winning films, “As Good As It Gets”, “Ali” and “Jerry McGuire” is continuing his partnership with Producer BJ Davis to bring this film to viewing audiences after the completion of their last comedy, award winning film “Forget About It”.

Casting for “ROOM AND BOARD” will continue at the new offices opening in Los Angeles, CA and Vancouver, BC later this month. Canadian-born Casting Director McCready will also cast the upcoming film “Second Chance” starring Michael York with Hoboken Pictures and The Rock Entertainment in British Columbia under the CAVCO agreement.

Dynamic Film Studio Executives Brenton Covington, Austin Nordell and Anthony Grutto have joined the production team for “ROOM AND BOARD”, having worked with the company on a full slate of domestic and international titles. Hoboken Pictures and The Rock Entertainment camera crews just returned from Cambodia and Viet Nam and are continuing post-production for “The New Millennium Project” at the company’s facilities in Arizona. Hoboken Pictures, The Rock Entertainment and Dynamic Film Studios are also in post production on their second documentary for the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Hoboken Pictures, Anthony Falco, Eva Choina, BJ & Julia Davis are working with the Hoboken International Film Festival’ Chairman Kenneth Del Vecchio, facilitating the first film festival in Hoboken, New Jersey. Officials set to participate in the upcoming festivities are Hoboken, New Jersey Mayor David Roberts and New Jersey Governor John Corzino. The festival is sponsored by CBS, Stevens University, Sheraton Hotels, New York Waterway, Hoboken Pictures, The Rock Entertainment and other companies.

Award winning actors Burt Reynolds, Raquel Welch, Charles Durning and Robert Loggia will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards at the first Hoboken International Film Festival, scheduled from June 1st through the 7 th , at the home of baseball and Frank Sinatra - Hoboken, New Jersey.
