Clooney Puts His Money Where His Mouth Is

Los Angeles, CA (rushprnews) March 30, 2007 - George Clooney is challenging anyone to prove that he leaked over cyberspace the obscenities-laced footage of Lily Tomlin and director David O. Russell’s infamous battle of words on the set of “I Heart Huckabees” shot in 2004, and to further make his point he’s betting a million dollars for proof of the contrary.
In a statement released yesterday to multiple media outlets, he stated, "Contrary to popular opinion, neither the sound man, Ed Tise, nor yours truly sent in the David O. Russell tape. I saw it when we were working on "Ocean's 12," and there have been quite a few copies traveling around town for the last couple of years. Any rumor that either of us put it on the Internet is simply false. And I'd offer a million bucks to anyone who would prove otherwise. Your fan, George Clooney".
Clooney is suspected to have made the leak because of his reputation as a prankster and his well known fallen-out with director David O’Russell during the making of the film Three Kings.
Clooney never shy with his words stands by his challenge.
