The Healing Begins - Virginia Tech Holds Vigil and Created FundsApril 17, 2007
Tuesday, 2 p.m.Chapel Bells will ring for 5 minutes in conjunction with the Convocation at Virginia Tech.
Tuesday, 7 p.m. Chapel Bells will ring for 5 minutes again, this time in conjunction with a Candlelight Vigil in the McIntire Amphitheater [
Rainsite: Newcomb Hall Ballroom]. President Casteen will address the crowd and support staff from CAPS, Res Staff, and other support groups will be available. Weather may not be perfect so please bring a flashlight in case it is windy.
Ribbons in VaTech colors will be distributed. Feel free to wear VaTech colors if so desired.
Thursday, 4:30 p.m.: Join us for a letter-writing campaign to the families of the deceased students at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in Pavilion III. The idea is to write a personal letter to the families of as many students as you have time for.
HOOS for HOKIES: A memorial fund has been established in honor of those who lost their lives.
