A Brit in Genoa City? Nigel Barker of America's Next Top Model
Los Angeles, CA (rushprnews) May 24,2007 -He's British. He's a judge on one of the top-rated reality shows. No, it's not Simon Cowell! It's Nigel Barker of America's Next Top Model.

Nigel will be appearing as himself as the host judge of Extreme Catwalk on two episodes of The Young and the Restless. As host of Extreme Catwalk, Y&R's reality show within-the-show, Nigel mediates between dueling divas Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman), while sexy schemer Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) models her daring new fashion designs on the runway.
Nigel got his start as a model when he appeared as a contestant on The Clothes Show, a televised British model search in 1986. This lead to a very successful career as a model, which took Nigel on location all over the world modeling for such names as Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Gaultier, Kenzo, Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren.

A decade later, Barker moved behind the camera to follow his dream of being a photographer, and he started his own photography studio called Studio NB in Manhattan, New York. This background gives him a very keen eye as a judge. He knows exactly what to say to coax his subjects to put forth their best effort and shine.

Look for Nigel's episodes on Tuesday, May 29 and Wednesday, May 30
