Steve Sax Launches Web Site To Promote Healthy, Active Living Through Sports-related Activities at AllSportsConnection

Sacramento, CA (rushprnews) June 7, 2007 -Steve Sax, 1982 NL Rookie of the Year, 2 time WS Champion, and six time MLB All Star second baseman has launched AllSportsConnection.com in an effort to connect individual or team sport competitors with over 150 sports and physical activities.

The site allows traditional sports enthusiasts to connect for team sports (soccer, flag football, softball and lacrosse), and it also encourages members to form hiking teams, skiing teams, running teams or even seek general work out partners. According to Sax, “There is a rating system to match members up with fair competition and enjoyment according to ability for individual and team competition. We don’t want anyone left out regardless of current physical condition or handicap. Someone just like you needs a partner to begin or continue down the road to physical fitness.”

AllSportsConnection.com is driven by America’s love affair with sports and the recent success in connecting like minded people on other internet networking sites. Sax also sees an opportunity to contribute to the reversal of some alarming health trends:
