Touchstone on Lake Muskoka's Media Day a Success

Toronto, ON (rushprnews) June 14, 2007 -Members of the Toronto and Muskoka media were out in full force on Tuesday, June 12th to witness the ribbon cutting of the new “Touchstone on Lake Muskoka Discovery Centre & Sandra Ainsley Gallery”.

Forty or so members of the media and friends of Muskoka looked on as Her Worship, Mayor Susan Pryke, Sandra Ainsley and Walter Thompson, President of The GenerX Corporation, the developer of the exclusive vacation home paradise, cut the ribbon on a glorious Muskoka day.

The media were flown from the private hanger at Pearson International Airport in Toronto to Muskoka, on a chartered flight courtesy of Touchstone— a luxurious lakefront project featuring five-star vacation home residences and fractional ownership villas. Guests were then shuttled to the Discovery Centre, where they were treated to light hors d’ouvres, and a showing of some of the world’s most magnificent glass artwork.

Walter Thompson says he wanted the media to appreciate, and see first hand, what the Touchstone on Lake Muskoka Discovery Centre & Sandra Ainsley Gallery is trying to accomplish.

"Rather than having to take the time and effort to visit our sales centre on site, people can stop in at their leisure and spend as little or as much time as they like," says Mr. Thompson. "Either by just poking their head in the door and taking a peak, or enjoying a cool refreshment, the Discovery Centre lets people learn as little or as much about Touchstone and fractional vacation home real estate as they'd like - on their terms."

Following the grand opening of this revolutionary Discovery Centre, guests were then shuttled to Touchstone on Lake Muskoka for a tour of the $100 million development, as well as a beautifully catered lunch.

The plane ride home from Muskoka to Toronto was the perfect way to end the day, as the pilot made a special trip over the tree lined shores of Touchstone on Lake Muskoka. Everyone on board the flight was blown away by the breathtaking views, as well as the commitment Touchstone on Lake Muskoka has to making sure every single moment is a memorable one.
