Hollywood Today J-Lo Plans First Concert Tour Ever

HOLLYWOOD, CA (rushprnews) July 22, 2007- — Jennifer Lopez, actress and multi-platinum recording artist is planning her first touring stint ever, at the behest of singer and longtime touring vet husband Marc Anthony, who will teach her the ropes on a combined tour that will spell SRO at each stop.

“Jennifer has never toured. It is something she’s always wanted to do, but she’s never had the time,” Anthony told Billboard. “And I was offered many more films I never took advantage of because I was always on tour. So, yes, we’re seriously talking about going out this year [and] putting together an amazing show with just her and myself.”

 ”I’ve toured all my life, he said “This is where I can step in and say, ‘Oh, my God, this could be fun,’ and introduce her to that world.”

The pair have sang together for recordings and acted together. In fact Anthony will be the star of their next film, “El Cantante” for Picturehouse Entertainment, where he plays salsa star Hector Lavoe. 
Lopez (“The Cell,” “Monster-inLaw”), whose films, music and clothing line keep up her status as the “wealthiest Hispanic in Hollywood,” can add $100 million to next year’s booty with a tour like this. Or half of that, as Anthony himself can sell out stadiums in Hispanic territories.

Though she wins MTV and Billboard Awards rather than Oscars or Grammys, she has still sold 48 million albums and had four No. 1 singles from her first 1999s “If You Had My Love” to her most recent No 1, 1993’s “All I Have.”
