His Holiness the Dalai Lama To Visit Toronto

Learning the Art, His Holiness the Dalai Lama Teaches Happiness in Toronto
Public Talk at Rogers Centre, October 31, 2007

Toronto, Ontario (RUSHPRNEWS) August 16, 2007 - The Canadian Tibetan Association of Ontario (CTAO) has invited His Holiness the Dalai Lama on this special occasion to address the people of Toronto. President of CTAO, Mr. Norbu Tsering states, "we are thrilled to host this visit by our spiritual and temporal leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama; he is admired and respected worldwide as a man of peace and compassion but we are also very proud that he will be returning here as a Canadian Citizen."

Awarded the third only honorary Canadian Citizenship in 2006 and most notably the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, the Dalai Lama is a strong advocate for non-violence, inter-religious understanding and universal responsibility.
