NEW YORK (RUSHPRNEWS) 7/26/08 - The say that a girl's diaries are the hardest thing in world for her to lose. The FBI tries to do just that. As her co-star in MTV's fictional boy band, MTV show Anne Hataway ("Get Smart") has to fight just that.
She "the hardest part of breaking up is getting back your stuff," is a situation actress Anne Hathaway became uncomfortably familiar following another FBI raid of ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri's posh Manhattan apartment. New York's Daily News reported that in addition to photos of the former couple, Hathaway's personal journals were also taken by government agents during the recent search.
"I'm a private person, and one of my mantras in life is from the brilliant Oscar Wilde," the "Brokeback Mountain" star told Coming Soon.net last year. "He says, ‘The less said about life's sores, the better.'" Hathaway seems to have taken that message to heart, refusing to respond to rumors she willingly assisted the government in its investigation.
Follieri was arrested in New York on June 24, after returning from a business trip to Europe. He has been accused of lying to investors by claiming he had connections with religious officials in Vatican City that would have allowed him to purchase land owned by the Catholic Church at a discount price. He and Hathaway dated for approximately four years.
