Actor Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson Tie The Knot In Quiet Ceremony in Canada

VANCOUVER(RUSHPRNEWS)09/28/2008--Ryan Reynolds, 31 and Scarlett Johansson, 23 married Saturday in a quiet ceremony in Reynolds' native Vancouver, Canada surrounded by family and close friends, confirmed Reynolds' rep.

Scarlett Johansson was born on 22 November 1984 in New York City and has stated liking older men "because they have better taste. " Reynolds is 8 years her senior.

They started to date in February 2007, one year after Reynolds broke off engagement with Alanis Morissette, and were engaged in May 2008. At the time the lovebirds met, Johansson was in a serious relationship wiht Josh Hartnett.

It is reported by People Magazine that Alanis Morissette, "wishes them well."

Prior to dating Ryan Reynolds, Johansson was tied to many famous men: Derek Jeter, Benicio del Toro, Jared Leto, Justin Timberlake, and Josh Hartnett, who she dated for two years.

The actress, who is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful woman in the world, is also known for telling reporters while promoting Woody Allen's “Match Point”, that she does not believe in monogamy because "it is not in human nature to be with only one person." It is the first marriage for both of them.

No words out yet on where they're planning to honeymoon. Or if they will even have the time for one.

Next year Ryan has three movies coming out; “The Proposal,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” and “Adventureland.”

On screen, Johansson can be seen in Woody Allen's Vicky Christina Barcelona and will co-star in The Spirit later this year.
