Burn After Reading: What Have We Learned From All This?
By Diana Srougi
NEW YORK (RushPRNews)12/23/08-Coen brothers’ latest dark comedy reunites some of today's biggest Hollywood stars: Brad Pitt, George Clooney and John Malkovich. The warped scenario and offbeat dialogues keep the viewer on the edge of its seat wondering what's to come up next . Whether a fan or not of this dynamic duo’s work, “Burn After Reading” is entertaining and amusing. It has earned the Coens Golden Globe nominations for Best Motion Picture, and Best Performance for Frances McDormand, who plays opposite Brad Pitt in a dumb and dumber routine.

The Women and Their Teachings
Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Debra Messing, Jada Pinkett Smith and Eva Mendes star in “The Women”, this week’s dramatic comedy, written and directed by Diane English. Although it’s not a grand movie, the message it awkwardly tries to send is delivered. For what it lacks in subtlety, it redeems itself with excellent performance from its cast.

Traitor: Beyond Expectations
Granted, this is another Muslim-terrorists-vs-American-heroes movie. But Contrary to the genre "Traitor" is much more than only that, and ten minutes into the screening, its true colors are revealed. Written and directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff’s, and staring Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce, “Traitor” is a thriller in the best sense of the word.
As suggesting by its title, the questions the film ask are who are your friends and who are your foes, trust and deceit. To note, the Director of Photography J. Michael Muro has done an astounding job. “Traitor” is worth the ride for the thrill-seekers.
