Scott Storch A Car Thief?

MIAMI, FLA (RPRN) 04/17/09-According to reports, Miami based producer Scott Storch has been charged with grand theft auto in connection with a vehicle he allegedly leased and failed to return. Storch made an appearance in a Broward County courtroom last Friday (April 10) to plead not guilty to the charges, says TMZ.

He reportedly leased a Bentley but never returned it, leaving the leasing company searching for the vehicle for seven months.

"We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge," Storch's attorney, Bradford M. Cohen said in a statement. "There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client."

At press time, there was no additional information on Storch's grand theft auto case.
