'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" Rules Weekend Box Office

Sherman Oaks, CA (RPRN) 6/29/2009--The numbers are in for this weekend's box office, and with an estimated $112.0 million over the weekend alone, 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' is this summer's big box office hit. The big budget action movie, starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, has earned $201.2 million in its first five days, toppling Cameron Diaz's 'My Sister's Keeper' from the number 1 spot. While the Sandra Bullock-Ryan Reynolds romantic comedy, 'The Proposal', stayed strong at number 2, 'The Hangover' gained some ground, coming in at number 3 with just over $180 million in total sales.

'Transformers' $112.0 million represents the biggest June weekend opening ever.
