World's First iPhone App to Feature Global Song Downloads that Fight Cancer Released by Joodayoh

'Pioneers for a Cure: Songs to Fight Cancer' iPhone App delivers revived Pioneer tunes to launch fund-raising effort where every digital song-download is a donation to cancer related care, treatment or research.

NEW YORK (RPRN) 7/22/2009--Pioneers For a Cure - a music philanthropy project sponsored by 501(C)3 non-profit arts organization, Joodayoh Inc. - has launched an iPhone App to introduce its song download-cancer donation initiative to a global audience. Positioned to deliver a rich content user experience on the iPhone, the App is the first planned (version 1.1) release by the projects executive team whose intention is to refine App features and widen distribution to a rapidly expanding universe of iPhone users, music enthusiasts, music history aficionados and micro-philanthropists.

The iPhone App delivers streaming previews of a growing roster of songs, a behind the scenes podcast by award winning NPR radio-journalist Jon Kalish and featured artist biographies. Embedded within the current 1.1 version of the iPhone App is a collective sing-a-long of 40 participating musicians mixed by none other than the legendary Bob Clearmountain, mixer of choice for Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones. From within the App itself, users can learn about the project, listen to streaming music previews, share information with others and connect to the Pioneers For a Cure website to make donations.
