HOLLYWOOD, CA (RPRN) 08/22/09 — Tudors, Grey Gardens, Dancing with Stars and Channel on Display -Emmy-nominated fashions on display for all

Project Runway kicked off yesterday their official West-Coast Premiere and launch of their weekly screening at the Remedy Lounge downtown Los Angeles.
The Remedy Lounge is part of Provecho fashionable Mexican restaurant at 800 Wilshire boulevard.
Jordin Sparks,Karen Dyer,Leila Arcier and contestant Blayne Walsh showed up to celebrate the new season of Lifetime’s Project Runway.
A few blocks away, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchanding (FIDM) have one of this year’s biggest exhibition in full swing, showing the nominee’s of 4th Annual Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design.The hours are Wednesday thru Sunday,10am to 4pm.
The exhibition will go on until September 6th,six days before the Creative Arts Emmys will be presented at Nokia Theatre.
The categories in Outstanding Costume Design will be in Drama and Comedy Series,Varity and Movie or Mini-Series.
The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards,where also the actors will be present, will air live on CBS,September 20th 2009.
This year’s nominee’ include work from Joan Berger,Susan O’Connor and Gabriel O’Brien in “The Tudors”(Showtime),costume designer Catherine Thomas and assistant Mickey Carleton in “Grey Gardens”(HBO) and costume designer Jo Katsaras and supervisor Zureta Schulz in “The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency”(HBO)
-For this years’Emmys,we have more than 100 costumes to show visitors of their favorite tv show,movies,series and reality show, says Mary Rose curator and President of the Costume Designers Guild.
-We have much more to show besides the nominee’- you will also find the costumes and sketches of “Dancing With The Stars”,”Coco Chanel”,”The L Word,”John Adams”,”Gossip Girl”,”Castle”"United States of Tara”,”Without a Trace”,Sense & Sensibility,”Ghost Whisperer” and “Project Runway Season 5 winners” by Leanne Marshall.
This is her 4th year as a guest curator and organizer of this exhibition and “It’s the 3rd time “The Tudors”is up for a nomination since last year win” she continues.
