Aurora Travel Vietnam to Further Expand Business in EU Market

Hanoi, Vietnam (RPRN) 11/17/09 — According to a recent survey conducted by The World Tourism Organization, the total number of long haul tourist arrivals from the EU countries is predicted at 164 million in 2020. This is an annual increase of 6.1% as of 2000. Also under the report, the most popular destinations will be the Americans, followed by East Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and South Africa. Western Europe and Northern Europe are expected to be the most significant originating regions.

The number of European arrivals in developing countries is increasing fast. Compared to 2003, their number climbed by an average of 10% to 54 million in 2006. The countries in the region have managed to increase their market share in the EU outbound tourist market. Almost all of the EU countries showed a positive growth in travel to developing countries, including Vietnam. Therefore, a proper long term strategy on Marketing and Management to the EU market becomes more urgent than ever before.
