Brands should Look to Video Content as Part of Optimization Strategy, Says Punch

London, UK (RPRN) 02/19/10 — When it comes to search engine optimisation, businesses should look towards the creation of video content as an additional method of drawing more traffic to a domain, and to support existing search marketing campaigns says social media and SEO agency Punch Communications.

Video has rapidly become one of the most popular and effective forms of online content, and as such, the optimisation of such content is now of vital importance. Comscore recently reported that nearly 178 million U.S. Internet users watched online video during the month. Viewing figures continued to reach record levels in December, with 33.2 billion videos viewed during the month.
