ACROSS THE NATION, people are shocked and angered by the archaic and barbaric use of the gas chambers to euthanize animals in pounds. Eyewitnesses have reported seeing the lengthy deaths inflicted on dogs and cats in these chambers. Hundreds of citizens are joining forces with animal activists and representatives from animals rights groups from Quebec and Ontario. They are coming together to denounce these methods, to put continued public pressure on these pounds and, to abolish this inhumane treatment and intolerable suffering endured by these sentient beings prior to and during their death. The ultimate hope is in the effectiveness of public pressure. Individually, we have no power, but together, we will move mountains!PARC LAFONTAINE at the Calixa-Lavallée chalet.
