Date Night has wings as well, coming in No. 3 with $8M for a $74 million box office total for Steve Carell and Tina Fey, who can rarely do wrong on the little screen or big one.

Furry Vengeance was expected to purr louder at theaters with Brendan Fraser but only got revenge with $6.M. It didn’t even out-do the Back-Up Plan whose plan held steady for an additional $7M.

The season’s other big winners, Clash of the Titans and Alice in Wonderland picked up another $6M and $2M respectively, as the Kracken is up to $154 million and Alice and Johnny Depp are up to a whopping $330 million. Nice tea party.
