Hollywood, CA (RPRN) 09/24/10 — By Rima Bek
– Soccer superstar David Beckham will file a law suit in Germany against a Bauer Media-owned magazine, which alleges that Beckham cheated on wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, by sleeping with two call girls.
Beckham, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS, will sue Germany-based celebrity gossip magazine In Touch for printing the story, according to his publicist Jeff Raymond.
The former captain of England’s national football (soccer) team will sue for malice in the U.S. and for defamation and slander in Germany, according to the U.K.’s Guardian.
The Guardian also reports that Beckham is demanding the magazine to not repeat the claims and to print a front-page retraction.
The superstar’s representatives are also looking to take legal action against the woman who brought the allegations forward.
Twenty-six year old call girl Irma Nici claims Beckham slept with her and another prostitute.
“The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous as the magazine was clearly told before publication,” said a spokesman for Beckham.
“Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine.”
