Entertainment Executive to be Key Advisor to BlueStar’s
Television and Digital Delivery Strategy for Blu-ray® Technology–
– BlueStar Digital Technologies, Inc. (“BlueStar”) today announced that entertainment executive Charlie Weber has joined BlueStar’s Advisory Board. Mr. Weber will play an important role in assisting the company in its expansion of its Blu-ray® technologies. Mr. Weber will also advice on the selection of the CEO while the board determines a permanent replacement.

Mr. Weber is an accomplished entertainment executive having served as the Chief Executive Officer of George Lucas’ Lucasfilms, Ltd. During his tenure at Lucasfilm, he was responsible for overseeing history-making films “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” Subsequent to Lucasfilm, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Embassy Communications, a company owned by television super-producers Norman Lear and Jerry Perenchio.
