ClearCenter CEO Michael Proper Appointed Chair Of The CompTIA Cloud Committee

Salt Lake City, UT (RPRN) 03/29/11 — CompTIA, the leading global provider of vendor-neutral IT certifications and the current CompTIA Cloud/SaaS community elected ClearCenter’s CEO Michael Proper to be the chair of the CompTIA Cloud/SaaS community.

“CompTIA is a driving force in cloud computing and is defining the terms and standards that the cloud desperately needs.” Said Michael Proper. “I am honored to work with CompTIA to help create a clear path for those migrating to cloud apps and services.”

“Michael will be working directly with other cloud influencer’s to continue to define the industry definitions, terms and certifications for cloud applications and services; thus helping to enable the adoption of cloud applications and services and ultimately helping channel players (both Vendors and Service Providers) combine cloud and on-premise offerings.”

“As Chair of the Cloud Committee, Michael will also provide value as part of the CompTIA Communities Executive Board (CEB) consisting of the following CompTIA Communities: Cloud/SaaS, Healthcare IT, IT Security, IT Services and Support, Managed IT Services, Managed Print Services, Small Business Owners, UK Channel, and Unified Communications.
