London, UK (RPRN) 07/18/11 — UK engraving specialist Sign Industries has just been awarded a new contract to engrave a specialist tool produced by A.Hak Industrial Services.

A.Hak Industrial Services provides a range of specialised industrial, pipeline and inspection services to the petro chemical, refining and pipeline industries.

The new project awarded to Sign Industries was to engrave a Tank Sludge Profiler; a tool A.Hak Industrial Services use to inspect tanks. The Tank Sludge Profiler is an ATEX rated tool that scans a tank’s floor to provide a detailed 3D image of the sludge volume and distribution. These 3D images help determine if activities such as cleaning and maintenance are required. The benefit of such inspection methods is that they are safe, quick and cost effective as there is no downtime.

Naturally tanks are designed and manufactured for the safe storage of different types of products, The Tank Sludge Profiler has been designed to inspect tanks up to 400 feet in size that store the following type of products:

• Some chemicals, non acid
• Lube Oil
• No. 2 Oil
• Silicone
• Glycol
• Water
• Acetone
• Benzene
• Methanol
• Gasoline
• Crude
• No. 6 Oil
