Holidays To Turkey Have Never Been So Cheap

London, UK (RPRN) 08/15/11 — Packyourbags.com announces holidays to Turkey have never been so cheap with many 2011 Turkey holidays cheaper than 2010 and 2009.

Whilst the UK holiday market is continuing to experience tough trading conditions, the situation is clearly playing into the hands of British holidaymakers as many tour operators are forced to sell holidays at rock bottom prices to help reduce the levels of unsold inventory.

August is the height of the UK summer holiday season but for many holiday firms they are already preparing for the summer season to start drawing to a close, and crucially there are still tens of thousands of holidays still available for dates until the end of October that must be sold.

To show how keenly holidays overseas are being priced, Packyourbags.com recently compared the prices of a holiday to one of 2011’s most popular hot spots – Turkey. Their research revealed taking an all-inclusive holiday in Turkey for 7 nights departing 17 September 2011 is £40 per person cheaper this year than taking the same holiday in 2010. The 2011 price is £259 per person, whereas the same holiday in 2010 was £299 per person.

In addition, the saving compared to 2009 is even greater, as the same holiday in September 2009 was £315 per person, meaning a saving of £56 per person.
