London, UK (RPRN) 12/07/11 — Award-winning car hire comparator launches Xmas competition offering support for UK homeless charities - iPad 2, London Eye tickets and more on offer

Leading car hire website Carrentals.co.uk has announced the launch of its new ‘12 days of Christmas’ competition in which 13 lucky winners can win a prize per day in the days leading up to Christmas Day itself.

Prizes on show include great gifts like an iPad 2, Amazon vouchers, tickets for the London Eye, a vineyard tour and tasting – with more besides up for grabs from the competition’s start date, December 12th. The 12 Days of Christmas promotion will offer entrants a prize every day for 12 days and an additional prize draw on Christmas Eve in which the iPad 2 can be won.

As a part of the 12 Days of Christmas Carrentals.co.uk will also donate the total cost of all the prizes to homeless charity, StreetSmart.  StreetSmart is a collective organisation which assists more than 90 homeless charities in 19 cities around the country, and has so far contributed more than £4.7million to help with education and training initiatives, housing support and health issues.

Entry to the 12 Days of Christmas competition is simple, with site users given a daily clue to help them find a hidden Carrentals.co.uk snowman on the website. The URL at which the snowman is located is the key to entering the competition.
