2. Washington: Virginia Man Sentenced for Acting as Unregistered Agent for Syrian Government
   
   Mohamad Anas Haitham Soueid was sentenced to 18 months in prison for collecting recordings and other information and providing these materials to Syrian intelligence agencies. Full Story

9. Mobile: Businessman, Lobbyist, and Legislator Sentenced for Roles in Wide-Ranging Conspiracy to Influence and Corrupt Activities of Alabama State Legislature
   
   Ronald Gilley, Jarrod Massey, and former state representative Terry Spicer were sentenced to 80 months, 65 months, and 57 months in prison, respectively, for bribery-related offenses. Full Story
