Ste. Anne's Spa Unveils Complete Skin Nourishment Product Line

GRAFTON, ON (RPRN) 08/14/12 — Canada's Favourite Spa Chose Underutilized, Indigenous Ingredients to Define Both the Actives and Aromas of their Homegrown Product

  - Following the highly successful introduction of Canadian-made Ste. Anne's Skin Nourishment product line, featuring hair and body care, to guests of Ste. Anne's Spa this past April, Canada's Favourite Spa will be unveiling their complementary face care line for use in their treatments and for retail sale in the beginning of August.

With their focus being on natural, indigenous ingredients and botanical actives instead of synthetics, Ste. Anne's Skin Nourishment approaches skin care with a more holistic approach to healing and nourishing the skin. In a world where cosmetic companies focus on the exotic, Ste. Anne's deliberately chose underutilized, indigenous ingredients to define both the actives and aromas of this homegrown product. Ste. Anne's Skin Nourishment has been manufactured without the use of petrochemicals, sulfates, PEGs/PPGs parabens, synthetic fragrances or synthetic preservatives. 

 "Plants and herbs nourish and heal our skin in the same gentle, non-invasive way that they heal and nourish our bodies. The actives in Ste. Anne's Skin Nourishment line have been formulated to balance, nourish, improve and maintain a healthy state of the skin with regular use," says Special Project Co-ordinator, Marijo Cuerrier. "As early as next spring we are preparing to supply the majority of the extracts used in the line from on-site gardens, located on our 500 acre property. The long-term goal is to become a viable Canadian supplier of organically grown herbal extracts and actives, since they are such a challenge to source locally."

The full Skin Nourishment will include: Cleansing Cream, Gel Cleanser, Toner, Hand and Body Deep Hydration, Day Cream, Firming Face Cream, Gommage, Hydrating Mask (base mask), Drench (mineral mask), Soothe (mineral mask) and Clarify (mineral mask), as well as the previously launched hair and body care products: Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand and Body Wash, Hydrating Lotion and Foot Cream. This will make for a total of sixteen skin care products in the Ste. Anne's Skin Nourishment. Ste. Anne's has chosen to manufacture the line in small quantities to ensure that their guests are enjoying as fresh of product as possible. 

The additional products were launched on August 6, 2012, and are being used in the majority of treatments in the spa. They are also available for purchase in the boutique at Ste. Anne's Spa and The Dorset Manor Spa, as well as the online boutique.
