West Jordan Childcare Experts at Learning Tree Schools Celebrate Anniversary

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (RPRN) 08/28/12 — - On July 16, Utah's Learning Tree Schools' executive directors Bethany Hosking and Amy Moyes celebrated the eighth anniversary of their leadership in providing leading childcare services in Salt Lake City daycare.

Founding director- and Hosking's mother- Jane Hosking designed the majority of the programming and philosophies when she started the business in 1979. Back then it was a simple preschool, but through the years it has evolved as a child care center focusing on innovation and best practices in child care services, largely through the efforts of Hosking and Moyes, who took over the institution when the founder retired.

"I grew up in the Learning Tree environment," says Hosking, a Learning Tree employee since 1994. "So it was a natural fit to bring my experience and training to help elevate the institution to the next level."

As a result, childcare in West Jordan Utah has benefitted. Hosking and Moyes are dedicated to their work in helping children develop academically, socially and physically.

"We are inspired daily and we love what we do," said Moyes, a Learning Tree Schools employee since 1992. "I think that passion is reflected in the children who are part of the Learning Tree family."

She and Hosking ensure children in their care make the most of their time at the center.

"Children can learn so much more than most people recognize," says Hosking. "When we fill their days with classes, games and activities that expand their knowledge in an engaging way, they amaze us."

The programs at Learning Tree Schools are designed for children of various ages- from infants to grade school.

"We want children in our program to succeed," said Moyes. "We provide a safe and caring environment for children to learn, grow and develop. Seeing the success of that actually happening-we couldn't ask for more."
