Sundance Vacations Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Newly Remodeled Hazleton Office

Sundance Vacations Ribbon Cutting

Wilkes-Barre, PA (RPRN) 10/23/12 — Sundance Vacations, a leading provider of discount travel accommodations, and longtime business in the Hazleton area, celebrated the grand

re-opening of its newly remodeled Hazleton marketing office with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  John Dowd, President of Sundance Vacations, officiated.  Also in attendance for the festivities were  Donna Palermo, President of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, Dan Guydish, Membership Director, Donna Barna, Melia Molinaro on behalf of State Representative Tarah Toohill, and many Sundance employees.

Sundance Vacations has had a presence in the Hazleton area for eighteen years.  Six of those years have been at its current location, 401A Airport Beltway, in The Commons Place.  This completely remodeled and modernized office will serve as the home of approximately 22 Sundance Vacations Event Marketing employees.  

John Dowd said, “We are making significant upgrades to all of our marketing offices in an effort to build the best, state-of-the-art workplace for our employees.”  

Sundance employee Lisa Molendini had this to say, “Our new office is beautiful.  It’s such a fresh, professional environment.  I’m proud to be a part of the wonderful asset that has been added to our community.   Sundance in Hazleton is thriving.”

VP of Marketing, Joe Molitoris said, “It took quite a bit longer than anticipated to renovate our existing office and convert it to state-of-the-art.  I must thank our staff for their flexibility and patience.  Everyone is ecstatic, and happy employees are more productive employees.” 

In July, Sundance Vacations celebrated the grand opening of a brand new marketing office in Tamaqua, and just last week, a new sales office opened in Parsippany, New Jersey.  Sundance Vacations has plans to continue growing and expanding, and ultimately, the objective is to create more jobs in the Hazleton area and beyond.  Sundance Vacations currently employs 400 people companywide in three states.
