Philadelphia, PA (RPRN) 08/08/14 — Philadelphia is known for it’s comedy venues and for birthing new comedians onto mainstream status. A new conglomerate of comedy promoters, also known as, The Heavy Hitters of Comedy” will embark on a weekly series of comedy events called Make Me Laff Fridays. New comedians will compete each week for a weekly prize while gaining exposure and having the opportunity to win over the crowd.
This new event series will be held at Park Avenue Banquet Hall in Philadelphia and will premier on Friday, August 8th 2014, and run every Friday night. Each comedian will have five minutes each for their standup routine. The first night will feature local comedians – Tuere, John Phillips, Real Basic, Beazt, and Stax Nificent. This first installment of MMLF will be hosted by Nate the Landlord, one of Philly’s rising comedic stars.
