Pickin'& Grinning– The Woodshed Music Program
Offering Talented Artists a National Debut
Podcasting Changing the Landscape of Media Distribution

PHOENIX-AZ (rushprnews) 05/23/06 - The Woodshed Music Program offers an opportunity for talented performers to be heard and have their music professionally distributed, along with a Show Notes hyperlink to the band's website. TheFlyPod.com has been on the leading edge of the "New Media" revolution since it began podcasting in October of 2005 -- and continues to rollout uniquely creative audio programs. TheFlyPod.com is now in its sixth week of episodes of the Woodshed Music Program podcast. Each weekly program  features a different musical artist or talented group from within the Bluegrass and Country music genre.

Each episode of the program is 20 to 25 minutes in length, and todate the show has featured groups such as The Kathy Kallick Band (San Francisco, CA); High Water (Babcock, WI); The Dixie Ryders (West Alexandria, OH); Eddy Kopkins & Son (Crab Orchard, KY); and Just In Tyme (Stanford, KY). Gary Puckett, host of the Woodshed Music Program states, "to be considered as a potential guest on the Woodshed Music program, an artist or group must simply forward a professionally produced CD of their own original music to: Fly Paper Productions, LLC - Media Group, POB 324 Harrison, OH  45030 USA...Attn: Bridget Hornbach, Program Coordinator."

Following the Woodshed Music Program's opening theme song, the show quickly progresses into a candid interview with a member of the band and is combined with the playing of their music. The guest bands may be from either a Bluegrass or Country music orientation. Gary Puckett states, "we do have some surprises planned ---occassionally we'll bring a novelty act on the show to shake things up."

According to the program's coordinator, Bridget Hornbach, "the program feeds for Woodshed are reaching out to the USA, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands...and response to the show has been wonderful and prospective show sponsors are already talking with us."

For all MP3 player or iPod owners, subscribing to the Woodshed Music Program is 100% free. An individual not owning a portable media player can go to TheFlyPod.com for free online listening, or download a choice of programs to their PC for personal enjoyment at a later time. TheFlyPod.com continues to implement a unique business plan involving carrying its franchise to small communities across the entire country with a variety in programming -- of interest from a college crowd to the business community and entrepreneurs. The Woodshed Music Program seems to be another successful program, in a line of successful programs including Factoid Fred, Unusual Occupations, Cover-To-Cover, Community Profiles, and the newly released sports trivia segment titled the Broo-Ha-Ha show, by nationally known sportscaster Ken Broo (www.KenBroo.com).

TheFlyPod.com offers a wide variety of audio program podcasts and is an excellent source for LOCAL WORLD MP3 audio. Marketing Manager, Allen Goodman states, "there's more to life than just downloading music - and podcasting is changing the landscape of media distribution -- podcasting offers content choices and time-shifted media." Advertising inquiries should be directed by snail-mail to Allen Goodman, at the above mailing address.

For an interview request with the Woodshed Music Program host, Gary Puckett, contact him weekdays at (812) 637-6908 (main studio line).
