LOS ANGELES, (RUSHPRNEWS) 09/17/2008–50 Cent recently revealed that Eminem is in the studio working hard on his forthcoming album. The new set is highly anticipated and rumoured to be titled “King Mathers.”
The G-Unit boss explained in reports that Eminem will commence with the project’s media campaign in next few months.”You’ll be seeing him shortly. He’s working,” 50 told UK’s ITN News during a red carpet interview.
“Even though he tries to relax and stay home it’s impossible for him to stay in.” Furthermore T.I. lifted some secrecy around the new disc after he revealed that he is working with Em on a track pitting the alter egos Slim Shady and T.I.P. against each other.
Eminem also recorded with super producer DJ Premier and completed a track titled “Keys To The City.””A lot of material he [Eminem] wrote prior to this is being scrapped,” 50 said. “He’s got to feel like it’s just happened, it’s new and it’s current. That’s just how he is creatively as an artist.”
Eminem’s new album is expected to hit stores in December 2008.
In another news MTV Cancels TRL, and Eminem Reacts
MTV has decided to pull the proverbial plug on one of their longest running shows TRL.
According to the show’s executive producer, the network will air TRL’s final episode, concluding their 10-year run in November.
“TRL debuted in September 1998 and has since been the go-to show for artists, actors, and celebrities promoting their new project,” said the executive producer.
Upon hearing the news, Eminem reacted with a statement revealing his fondness for the show.
“I’m going to miss TRL,” Em said. “Where else will I be able to start feuds, defend my honor vigorously and act like an angry teenager on national TV? Oh wait… the VMAs!”
MTV will air a 2-hour special celebrating the show’s historic run and influence on pop culture before it’s looming demise.
