50 Cent Talks Business With New Book, ‘The 50th Law’

By Erin T. McMillon

NEW YORK (RPRN) 7/27/2009–50 Cent will be making waves in the literary community this fall with the release of his business book The 50th Law. Co-written by 50 and the self-proclaimed “modern Machiavelli” Robert Greene, the book is said to be a complete 21st century guide to business.

The 50th Law will be published by Profile Books and is being billed as a manual on “how the power game of success can be played to your advantage.”

“Those who dismiss 50 Cent as a gangster should rethink: his continued presence in the Forbes Rich List and entrepreneurial nous show there is a lot more to the man than his music,” said Andrew Franklin, publisher of Profile Books.

In Franklin’s eyes, the book reveals “not just an informed strategy,” but “an incredible story of survival, rehabilitation, and upward mobility.”

“The essential tenet of the book, inspired by 50’s experiences, is that your fears are a prison which hold you back-you should be yourself, fear nothing, focus on what you want and have no ‘Plan B,'” he concluded.

The 50th Law is set to grace the shelves of U.S. book stores in September.
