NEW YORK (RUSHPRNEWS)09/16/2008–After initially confessing to the murder of a woman during Lil Kim’s birthday party, a New York bouncer has reportedly changed his mind and entered a not guilty plea. As previously reported by Yo! Raps, Ingrid Rivera (a die had Lil Kim fan) attended Lil Kim’s birthday party at Spotlight Live. Her body was found in a utility closet on the roof of the club two days later on the night of August 6.
A day after the gruesome discovery, Sayed Rahman, a bouncer at the club, confessed to striking Rivera on the back of the head with a metal pipe.
He told police that the attack was prompted by her rejection of his sexual advances.
According to amNewYork, Rahman showed up in Manhattan’s State Supreme Court yesterday (September 15) and plead not guilty to second-degree murder charges.
Prosecuting attorney Anne Schwarts said that Rahman’s confession was captured on videotape but Rahman’s lawyer, Peter Frankel, says that he has no knowledge of any “so-called confession.” He offered no further comment on the case.
