Leaving the printed page, media executive goes green online
New York, NYÂ (RPRN) 6/16/2009– Former commercial real estate magazine publisher, Victoria Osorio launched GreenForceJobs.com, a green jobs site. Leaving the printed page, the former publisher is now focusing on promoting the new opportunities presented in the green field, online.
“With our economy in transition, workers in all industries have to consider where the jobs of the future will be. The green field is growing and will be a vital part of our future with more jobs rapidly becoming available as the focus on a green economy grows. Job seekers now need somewhere to find green jobs as they become available.†Using that as her motivation, Victoria applied her skills as a media professional and knowledge of the green building sector gained as publisher of a commercial real estate magazine, and created GreenForceJobs.com.
“By focusing on promoting green jobs online, we harness the power of the Internet and move toward a greener economy while maximizing efficiency,†says Victoria.
Job seekers can post their resumes and register for free. Employer job listings are open to companies in the green field or those companies wishing to green their business strategies and are looking for qualified candidates to lead their organization’s initiatives.
The site just launched and will be adding new features within the next few weeks. Job seekers and employers can follow GreenForceJobs on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook or connect on LinkedIn.
