Winner of the Sundance 2008 Audience Award, “Fields of Fuel” presents the case for biodiesel as the fastest and most sustainable means to reducing our country’s dependence on oil.

Tickell’s first book, “From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank – The Complete Guide to Using Vegetable Oil as an Alternative Fuel,” sparked a biodiesel revolution in the 1990s and his two-year “Veggie Van” tour around the country to promote biodegradable biodiesel garnered international media attention and jump-started this now booming industry.
Widely regarded as the “Green Producer,” Greg Reitman, the founder of Blue Water Entertainment, Inc., an independent production company focusing on environmentally conscious entertainment. In addition to producing “Fields of Fuel,” Reitman wrote, produced, and directed the feature documentary “Hollywood’s Magical Island – Catalina” (2003), syndicated on American Public Television (APT). He is currently in production on his new feature film, “Rooted in Peace.”
