NEW YORK (RUSHPRNEWS)August 7, 2008–As previously reported by Yo! Raps, Jennifer Lopez was hit with a subpoena to testify about the infamous 1999 Club New York shooting which left one person shot in the face and both her and Diddy facing jail time. TMZ is now reporting, however, that the singer/actress will not be testifying because she has “nothing to contribute to the case.”

The suit, filed by shooting victim Natania Reuben, is seeking damages in the amount of $130 million from Diddy.

According to reports, Diddy, Lopez, and Shyne were at Club New York in Manhattan when gunfire broke out between Diddy and his entourage (which included Shyne) and another party.

Diddy and Lopez left the club and were pulled over by police who found a gun in their vehicle. Both were charge with felony gun possession. The charges were later dropped against Lopez. But Diddy and Shyne headed to court to answer to the charges. While Diddy was acquitted, Shyne was sentenced to a ten year bid.

Diddy and Lopez split up shortly after.

At press time, Lopez had offered no comment or statement regarding the case.
