JetBlue Airways Reports May Traffic
NEW YORK, (rushprnews)Jun 7, 2007 — JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) reported today that its traffic in May increased 16.9 percent from May 2006, on a capacity increase of 12.7 percent.
Load factor for May 2007 was 82.0 percent, an increase of 2.9 points from May 2006. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 99.7 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 78.3 percent. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of May increased 6 percent year over year.
