LOS ANGELES (RUSHPRNEWS) August 1, 2008–Nelly, who is currently in heavy promotion of his upcoming album “Brass Knuckles”, may be working with Hip-Hop heavyweight and King of the South T.I. on a collaborative project.Nelly was recently interviewed by Rap-Up magazine and revealed that two rappers are in the talks but the project is still in the early stages and nothing can be confirmed.
“We [T.I.] talked about doing a joint together, a whole album,” the rapper says. “It’s not about just selling records for me anymore because I’ve done that. It’s about making something that people will remember.”
The platinum-selling rapper and T.I. last time worked together on “Show It To Me” which was featured on “T.I. vs. T.I.P.” According to Nelly, he may also recruit a third member for the collaborative project.
When asked about T.I.´s legal situation, Nelly said, “We all make mistakes. I’m not a judgmental person. I may not agree, but I’m not going to judge you for it because we all gotta be accountable and we all gotta take responsibility for the choices that we make. But be that as it may, I’m not going to stop being his friend because he made a mistake. I think that’s when you need your friends the most, when you have made a mistake.”
Nelly´s anticipated new album “Brass Knuckles” will be in stores September 16.
