Market Harborough, Leicestershire, 03/06/09–PR Jobs are increasingly difficult to find, particularly in the current economic downturn facing Britain, with a significant lack of vacancies available and many workers existing positions facing job losses and salary cuts as companies seek any means possible in order to try and save on cost and expenditure.
Despite this well publicized negative climate, PR Company Punch Communications is in a more fortunate position than most and is currently experiencing an increased level of business inquiries and client interest to date.
Managing Director Pete Goold commented: – “Since starting a career in Public Relations I’ve been passionate about all aspects of PR. At Punch, a PR campaign includes incorporating aspects social media, bookmarking and tagging websites as well as the more traditional methods of establishing press contacts and distributing news releases, in fact, this is how we see PR evolving.â€
As a result of the imminent increase in workload, Punch is preparing itself to expand its team and is subsequently looking to develop its Technology PR department by hiring like-minded individuals who are passionate about PR and eager to add value and engage with the Punch team.
The successful candidate in question will join the Punch team and immediately set to work on number of different accounts. The sectors Punch covers are varied but the team has several specific campaigns spanning across digital, automotive and consumer brands. In order to be considered for a role, the individual in question should have a firm grasp of how a successful public relations campaign works; first class communication skills and most importantly, a willingness to learn new methods and skills and an all consuming drive to succeed and perform well.
