RocknRolla premieres in London. Madonna attending premieres but she is to perform in Amsterdam on Tuesday as part of her Sticky & Sweet world tour
LONDON,UK (RUSHPRNEWS) 08/01/2008–The world premiere of Guy Ritchie’s new movie RocknRolla is September 1, in London. The film centres around a Russian mobster in London’s criminal underworld. Ritchie, 39, is attending the premiere alongside the cast of the film and his wife Madonna. The premiere is taking place at the Odeon West End, in London’s Leicester Square.
Ritchie, 39, is attending Monday night’s premiere alongside the cast of the film, with Madonna by his side.
RocknRolla is being seen as the director’s make or break movie following his last two film titles Swept Away and Revolver.
His wife Madonna had a star role in Swept Away and the film and her performance was panned by critics.
reverted back to gangster films with Revolver, but it was also badly received.
The British director hit fame a decade ago with the gangster caper Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
He recently stamped on suggestions his marriage was over with a public show of support at his superstar wife’s 50th birthday party. Tonight’s presence of Madonna by his side further solidifies the union.
Madonna performs in Amsterdam on Tuesday night, on the latest leg of her Sticky & Sweet world tour.
The premiere takes place at the Odeon West End, in London’s Leicester Square.
