TORONTO, ON(RUSHPRNEWS) November 9, 2007- Strategy9 and Bally will debut Bally’s TournaMaker™ slot tournament system, built on Strategy9’s STMS platform at G2E 2007.St. Catharines, ON.
 – Strategy9 announced today that it has entered into a development partnership agreement with Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:BYI), a Las Vegas, Nevada – based casino systems and gaming machine manufacturer, to integrate Strategy9’s renowned Slot Tournament Management System (STMS) with Bally’s GameMaker® HD™ slot machines.
The combined system, TournaMakerâ„¢, will debut at this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 12 to November 15. TournaMakerâ„¢ is a revolutionary concept that turns a casino’s regular GameMaker® HDâ„¢ slot machines into “roped-off†tournament machines on demand without the aid of slot technicians.Â
This means that slot machines are available to playing customers for a longer period of time, with a much quicker transition to tournament mode.“This integration effort revolutionizes slot tournament management,†said Andrew White, Strategy9 CEO and president, “now, a 200-player slot tournament can be easily managed by only one or two casino staff members.Â
Scoring is now automatic – there’s no longer a need for a slot host to manually record scores after tournament sessions.†Other new features include a leaderboard and position indicator on each slot machine, automated ticketed enrollment, easy customer self-registration via kiosk, a video display manager, and comprehensive administrative functionality.Strategy9’s STMS system has an install base of 25 casinos, and was first launched in 2003. STMS provides slot tournament functionality such as: tournament creation and administration, patron registration, leaderboard display control, and flexible automated prizing.Â
The system has already handled thousands of tournament players in multi-phase, multi-site slot tournaments.Â
