Photographer, Tricia Messeroux, Transforms Tots Into Obama, P. Diddy, Beyonce, Marilyn Monroe, Ellen and Oprah All for a Good Cause
NEW YORK (RushPRnews) 03/16/09 – ToddleWoodâ„¢, Toddlers in Hollywood, is the brainchild of New York photographer, Tricia “T.Mezz” Messeroux, in which city kids are transformed into superstar celebrities, iconic figures and historic legends all captured in breathtaking photographs.
Tricia combines her talents as an award-winning Advertising Executive and Creative Director, Senior Photographer of Big Eye Photography to lead a dynamic team of costume designers, hair and make up artists and a production crew who all help to bring these pictures to life. Children from all over the Tri-State area responded to a widespread casting call, but only a select few were chosen to participate in these highly sought after photo shoots. “My phone does not stop ringing with modeling agencies and parents eager to book their children for a photo sessionâ€, says Tricia. “At the end of the day, I am not only looking for the child who best resembles the figure, I am looking for a spirited little girl or boy with that larger than life personality who will draw you into the photo.â€
From the staging and lighting, the one of a kind hand sewn costumes to the hair and make-up, each child who is selected for the ToddleWoodâ„¢ project embarks on a once in a lifetime experience. These photos become an invaluable piece of art, which would accentuate any collection. Whether it be capturing the Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton political debate, real estate mogul, Donald Trump, the talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey, the Destiny Child’s “Survival†video, or the cast of “Sex and the City,†the uncanny resemblance of each child to the figure captured in these photographs is bound to impress the public.
The premiere of the ToddleWoodâ„¢ photo exhibit, an invitation only VIP reception, will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, New York City and will mark the very first unveiling of the collection and the book launch. This “can’t miss” star-studded event will include the Who’s Who in entertainment, business, politics and the arts. The event will also kick-off ToddleWood’s role as a champion for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Donations from the event and a percentage of the proceeds from Toddlewoodâ„¢ books sales will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which helps to find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
