Writer-Director Phil Robinson to Deliver -Keynote at Academyâ€™s Nicholl Dinner
Beverly Hills, CA(RUSHPRNEWS) â€” Writer-director Phil Robinson will deliver the keynote address at the presentation dinner of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciencesâ€™ 22nd annual Don and Gee Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting on November 15, 2007, at the Beverly Wilshire hotel.
At the event, this yearâ€™s seven winning screenwriters â€“ three individuals and two writing teams â€“ will receive the first installment of the $30,000 in prize money awarded with each of five prestigious fellowships.
Robinson earned an OscarÂ® nomination in 1989 for the screenplay of â€œField of Dreams,â€ which he also directed. Robinson also wrote and directed â€œIn the Moodâ€ (1987) and â€œSneakersâ€ (1992), and directed â€œThe Sum of All Fearsâ€ (2002).
