Phil Jeudy reporting onsite at Demofall 09
No wonder so many High Tech companies choose Demo as the key place and time to launch their products: the press coverage, the investors attending, plus the live online video are all contributating factors to the high level of attention received at this two-day conference. Demofall 09 is no exception and techies from all over the world are flocking to San Diego from September 21-23 to attend and benefit from it.
One example -and there are so many- of a company who grew by leaps and bounds after its participation is Qipit, who introduced its new product in 2006 at Demo. Benoit Bergeret, President of RealEyes3D did the presentation (see video).
According to Bergeret, the benefits were tremendous, “Without DEMO we would never had the immediate exposure and publicity that we needed to succesfully launch the qipit service. DEMO generated great press coverage for www.qipit.com, followed by a steady stream of camera phone users registering on the web site. This early user base was invaluable in providing us feedback, thus allowing us to come up quickly with a service that today is in a mature stage, with loyal users who praise the ease of use and the value they continue to derive from using qipit on a daily basis.”
3 years after receiving a DEMOgod award for its handwritten messaging OEM applications, Realeyes3d steps again on stage to introduce qipit, the consumer mobile copy service that turns your cameraphone pictures into documents in seconds.
