— Mar-Bal, Inc., a Chagrin Falls, Ohio-based leader in the thermoset industry, introduces a new product within its Fire-Gard™ Product Family. Iron-Safe™, a fire-resistant iron organizer, was developed primarily for the hospitality industry where guest safety and risk management is vitally important.
An industry leader for 40 years, Mar-Bal, Inc. operates manufacturing facilities in Ohio, Virginia and Missouri. The new Fire-Gard™ Iron-Safe™ will be manufactured in Mar-Bal’s Chagrin Falls, Ohio facility.
The NEW Fire-Gard™ Iron-Safe™ Iron Organizer is engineered using Mar-Bal’s own proprietary heat resistant thermoset material compound and designed to hold most irons and ironing boards in the marketplace. The storage cradle keeps the iron secure by preventing the iron from falling out should the cord be pulled down or outward by a child. The distinctive cord wrap keeps the iron’s cord from dangling and out of the reach of children. Other product features include an integrated ironing board holder, coated board hooks and mounting hardware. A wall bracket is also included so that the ironing board hanger can be mounted separately. The new iron organizer design has several pending patents.
While the initial focus will be for distribution within the commercial hospitality industry, Mar-Bal has plans to introduce a retail version very soon. The retail version will enable consumers to install the product providing a solution to their laundry workspace storage and removing a potential safety hazard of a hot iron and inviting dangling cords.
