Élan School in Portland Spring Maine, has just launched a new online radio website designed to provide parents of trouble teens with solutions from industry experts. Élan School Live is an online talk show featuring many of the staff, industry professionals and topics relevant to parents of troubled teens.
The first episode of Élan Live will feature and interview with Dr. Jerry Sapan, Clinical Director of Élan School. Dr. Sapan is an advocate for nonmedical treatment of teens with behavior and emotional challenges. The interview with Dr. Jerry Sapan will take place at 2pm EST only on www.ElanSchoolRadio.com
Elan was awarded academic accreditation and therapeutic certification through NIPSA (National Independent Private School Association). NIPSA is a member of NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditation). Elan School is on the approval list for the states of Illinois, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Élan School has a special education director on staff and offers maximum support and development of IEPs in collaboration with school districts. Élan offers frequent parent contact with their Troubled Teenagers. Today, Élan is a co-educational year round, residential school for struggling adolescents who come from all parts of the United States as well as from foreign countries. The facility is located in the rural community of Poland Spring, Maine; 25 miles north of Portland, Maine, and 140 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. Élan is licensed by the Maine Department of Education as a special purpose school residential private school for grades 8 – 12 and is entitled to grant diplomas to those students who meet high school graduation requirements.
