Ultraseal America Inc., the global leader for solutions to the eternal problem of porosity in casting, is to exhibit for the first time at the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) Congress and Exposition.
The benefits of impregnation, of Ultraseal’s world-beating recyclable sealant Rexeal 100, and its range of impregnation equipment will be explained at Booth #205 at the show.
The exhibition is the largest for the industry in North America, with more than 4,000 visitors expected to attend the event which will place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN., from October 8th-10th 2012.
Rexeal 100, one of very few recyclable sealants to meet the US military specification MIL-I-17563C (Class 1 and 3), outperforms conventional sealants while also offering cost and environmental benefits.

Ultraseal is a true pioneer: it introduced the world’s first recyclable sealant – MX2 – and transformed impregnation machinery. It was first to develop front loading impregnation machinery 20 years ago and today it has more than 50 applications of front loading machines around the world. Especially suited to modern lean manufacturing practices, front loaders can be easily incorporated into automated production lines.
While up to 95% of conventional sealants are simply washed away in the impregnation process, both of Ultraseal International’s recyclable sealants, Rexeal 100 and Ultraseal MX2 can be recovered immediately and used again, saving money and producing less waste water.
All this is achieved while delivering global benchmark performance: aluminum test rings of the type used in the US Mil Spec demonstrated that those impregnated with Rexeal 100 did not leak after 24 hours at 428°F (220°C). In contrast, rings impregnated with a conventional sealant leaked after half an hour at 212°F (100°C).
