Enhanced features include real-time direct chat between attendees, real-time surveys to boost audience engagement, sponsorship capabilities, and SSO security
New website lets event organizers set up a personalized test drive for their event in under a minute.
—Livecube, the world’s most engaging event app, today announced several enhancements to its platform related to event management, gamification, attendee participation, sponsorship capabilities, and security. With this significant new upgrade, Livecube is now the only platform of its kind that enables organizers to drive up attendee engagement and simultaneously cut down on administrative overhead.
New for Organizers
The newly upgraded, completely customizable Livecube features a beautiful, more user-friendly UI that enables event organizers to create and host a new event in less than a minute. Managing an event, from logistics to speakers and attendees to gamification features, is now easier than ever with Livecube’s centralized dashboard.
While running an event, organizers can send ad hoc SMS notifications directly to attendees or choose to display in-app announcements in full screen. Announcements can be targeted specifically to one team or to attendees in a specific session. Additionally, moderators now have expanded capabilities and can project questions from the audience up on the big screen.
Livecube can seamlessly integrate with pre-existing attendee authentication databases through its newly-released secure Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality.
New for Attendees
In addition to new tools for event organizers, Livecube has also announced a bevy of new features for attendees to connect with each other and engage with everything happening at an event. With new single-sign-on integration, it’s now easy for attendees to log in to Livecube using simply their corporate email or social media accounts.
During the event, newly launched direct chat means attendees can make new connections quickly and chat in real time. Attendees are rewarded for checking into sponsors and following them on social media, a huge boon for event organizers and their sponsor partners. For navigating larger events like conferences, attendees can sort and filter sessions by “Track,” and even mark favorite sessions to create a personalized schedule.
While watching and participating in sessions, attendees can take personal notes, and after the event concludes, the app sends attendees information-rich recap emails so they have a permanent record of the event and their participation in it.
New Gamification Features
Gamification features such as challenges and surveys have repeatedly proven to be popular with event organizers and attendees for increasing engagement. From the moment attendees are invited to Livecube by event organizers, they are now welcomed by onboarding emails that provide helpful tips for getting started. Organizers can also choose to customize how attendees are placed into teams for icebreakers and other fun games.
Additionally, the app now has expanded, fully-customizable challenges that track over 40 different actions, including posting text and photos, earning upvotes, interacting with other attendees, and even answering questions correctly. Real-time, fullscreen surveys are now editable by admins on the fly, and have instant recap capabilities.
Boosting Social Media Reach
Event organizers—from companies as varied as Verizon, TEDx, Bridgestone, Inc Magazine and Delta Air Lines—use Livecube for dynamic corporate meetings, conferences, volunteer programs, theater performances, and all kinds of meetup groups to save time and boost social media reach.
Livecube’s engagement and gamification features recently proved to be a hit for one of its customers, Break A Difference, who saw an exponential increase in social media reach. Millennials participating in the popular Alternative Spring Break program resulted in a social media reach of more than 1.7 million from fewer than 700 volunteers. The massive 4475% increase in reach resulted from smart, strategic use of volunteer management and gamification best practices provided by Livecube.
“As a direct result of our partnership with Livecube, our social media reach is now being measured in the millions for our Alternative Spring Break programs,” said Stephe McMahon, President of Break A Difference. “Livecube’s power is obvious from the numbers. And its wide breadth of features, from pre-event tasks to post-event management has eliminated our need for any other event management app.”
Along with today’s newly announced features, Livecube has rebranded with a new logo, and launched a completely revamped website, where visiting event organizers can easily test drive the app for their own event.
