Los Angeles, CA (rushPRnews) 03/29/11 — Effective Saturday, March 26, 2011, 15-year NFL veteran, Terrell Owens, announced the termination of his relationship with his publicist, Tammy Brook of FYI PR. In the wake of recent news and interviews following pop-star Chris Brown’s March 22nd appearance on Good Morning America, Owens’ name has been repeatedly mentioned among Brook’s clients who haven’t been depicted in a positive light.
In numerous articles and blogs, Brook has been described as being “accustomed to dealing with difficult clients” and having “controversial clients”, both of which are images that Owens has worked diligently to distinguish himself from in recent years. This reason, compounded by his disappointment and dissatisfaction with Brook’s services over the duration of their single 9-month contract term, was cited as the catalyst for finalizing and publicizing the end of their work relationship.
“Parting ways with Tammy Brook and FYI PR was already underway and understood. It’s merely coincidental that she is currently in the news. I’m speaking up because I want to disassociate myself from her and the controversial headlines,” states Owens.
